Morrisson-Reeves Library Loans/Loan Periods
28 Day Loan on:
Books, Pamphlets, College Catalogs, Sound
Recordings, Government Documents, Government Documents, Magazines,
Multi-Media Kits, Toys, Puzzles, & Tales-To-Go Kits
14 Day Loan on:
Adult Magazines, Adult New Books, Children's
Featured Holiday Books, Video Tapes & DVDs with multiple discs
7 Day Loan on:
Single Disc DVDs
3 Day Loan on:
Multimedia Projector, Camcorders, Polaroid
Cameras, Overhead Projector, Screen, & Slide Projector
- Audio-Visual Equipment
may only be checked out by borrowers that are 18 years of age
or older.
- A fee is not charged to borrow equipment, but a deposit will
be collected when the equipment is picked up. The deposit will
be returned in full upon return and inspection of the item, unless
the item is damaged or overdue.
The maximum number
of items that may be borrowed on a card is 30.
Returning
Materials
For your convenience you may return most materials in the drive-up
book deposit in the south parking lot.
Please
do not return the
following items in the book return:
- Magazines
- Tales-To-Go-Kits
- Toys
- Puzzles
- Cassette Kits
Renewing
Material
You may renew material either in person or
by phone. Please have your library card in hand when performing this type
of transaction.
These items may not be renewed:
- Audio-Visual Equipment
- WOW Kits
- Items on Hold for another borrower
- Items previously renewed
- Featured 2 week current holiday books
- Items overdue more than 28 days
The following items may be renewed
for one additional loan period:
- 4-Week Books, Magazines, Sound Recordings,
Pamphlets, College Catalogs, Compact Discs,
Government Docs.
All Children's Materials (except featured 2 week current holiday books)
These items may be renewed for
one week:
- New Books
- Videotapes
- DVDs

Holds
- If an item you want has been checked out,
you may place a Hold on it.
- You will be notified by phone or mail
when it is available for you.
- Limit of 12 Requests Per Borrower.
- If other Holds exist on the item, it is
loaned to you for
2 weeks.
- You must pick up your Hold within
4 days of receiving notice.
*Please notify the library if you no longer need a specific item
on Hold.
