Reserving
Videotapes, DVD and Equipment
MRL customers
may reserve videotapes, DVD & equipment in Audio-Visual
Services on a first come, first serve basis in person or by
phone. MRL videotapes, DVD & equipment may be reserved
up to 2 months in advance.
Reserved
videotapes may be picked up the first day of the loan period
for which they are reserved.
Using
Videotapes
1) Videotapes
are for home use only and may not be borrowed for use
in schools unless such is in compliance with the educational
exception as provided in the United States code.
2) Videotapes may not be shown where admission is charged
or a
donation taken.
3) Videotapes may not be televised on open or closed circuit
broadcast systems.
4) Videotapes may not be duplicated.
5) Rewind each videotape before returning to Audio-Visual
Services.
Sound
Recordings
If a cassette
or compact disc you wish to borrow is not available, you may
place a hold on that item. When the item becomes available,
you will be notified by telephone or mail.
Use
of Typewriters
There is
one typewriter available free for the public to use.
There is no time limit for using the typewriter unless someone
is waiting in line to use one. If this occurs, we limit you
to one hour.
Typing paper is available at a nominal fee.
Use
of Previewing and Listening Stations
To use
a previewing or listening station, simply request access from
the A-V Services Reference Desk.
