The All Movie Guide, while not having as complete amount of movies as the Internet Movie Database, allows for more ways to cross-reference and gives a better plot summary and production credits.

Rotten Tomatoes http://www.rottentomatoes.com/
This website combs all of the movie reviews available and assigns each film a “freshness rating.”  If a movie is “fresh” it has over 60% positive reviews.  If a movie has less than 60%, it’s a rotten tomato.

Ain’t It Cool News http://www.aint-it-cool-news.com/
Updated by uber-geek, Harry Knowles, this site is the best resource for nerd news.  It is known for proliferating rumors, facts, and anything else you might want to know about up-coming movies.
