Customers may use Internet and word processing user stations located at the library. The following is our procedure for use of these work stations.

1. Patron must first sign Internet/Computer Use Policy

2. Internet user stations will be assigned barcodes for check out purposes (similar to slide projectors, etc.)

3. Users must have a valid MRL library card:

a. fines must be under $10.00

b. card will have current information checked, etc.

4. Users are allowed 60 minutes at a time on a first come, first serve basis.

5. Users 12 and under shall use the Internet stations in Children’s Services with a parent/guardian. Users 13 and older shall use the Internet stations located in the Audio-Visual Services.

6. No outside personal software may be used by patrons. Disks will be available for purchase. All personal disks will be scanned for viruses. If a virus is noted, the disk may not be used.

7. Printing costs are: 

$0.10 a page for black prints ($0.15 two sided)  

$0.25 for color copies ($0.50 two sided)

8. Only one user at a time shall be allowed to use each Internet station, except in the case of parent and child.

These policies are consistent with all other service policies of Morrisson-Reeves Library.
