Saturday, January 7, 1939 --

During the week -- Evening newspaper service by carrier to subscribers of The Richmond Palladium will continue with the delivery of The Palladium-Item on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (The Saturday evening edition is discontinued, being supplanted by the Sunday morning issue). Delivery of the The Richmond-Item by carrier in Richmond remains at 15c a week. Rural route subscribers of the Richmond Palladium will henceforth be served by the morning editions of The Palladium-Item. Morning editions will be issued, in addition to Sunday, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The newspaper service to subscribers of the Richmond Item in nearby towns and on rural routes will continue as in the past, the only change being in the name -- from The Richmond Item to The Palladium-Item. These subscribers will receive The Palladium-Item morning editions of Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The morning editions of The Palladium-Item, during the week -- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday -- will not be delivered by carrier in Richmond. Exclusive subscribers of The Richmond Item are invited to subscribe for the evening and Sunday editions of The Palladium-Item.

The morning editions of The Palladium-Item will be for sale on news stands in Richmond.
