July 23 - August 4, 2008
Back to School time is upon
us, and it’s important to remember that not all students will be able
to start the year with all the school supplies necessary for a successful
learning experience. Children
can’t learn effectively if they don’t have paper and pencils.
Tools for Schools is a community effort to collect
school supplies for distribution in Richmond elementary schools to those
students who may need some help with affording basic school supplies.
The drive is being conducted
in partnership with Wayne County Vision. 100% of donations go
to local students. We run our program with volunteers with absolutely
no overhead costs.
