The Morrisson-Reeves Library collection of circulating toys is available for checkout in the Children’s Services Department. Children learn information in a variety of ways. Playing with carefully selected toys helps quicken developmental skills, such as eye-hand coordination, spatial relationships, classification and sequencing, all of which are prerequisites to successful reading.

Any person holding a current Morrisson-Reeves Library card may borrow toys.

There is a limit of two toys per family.

Toys are checked out for four weeks, unless there are several holds on a particular toy. In that case, the toy circulates for two weeks.

Bags are provided for toys and need to be returned with the toys.

Toys are geared for infants and preschoolers.

Toys are cleaned and disinfected after each circulation.

Overdue charges are .25 cents a day per toy.

Toys should not be returned in the outside Book Return.

There are 234 toys in the collection and included in the collection are: mobiles, chime toys, musical instruments, games and shape sorters.
