Ancestry Library (formerly AncestryPlus)
Only available in the library. This genealogy service provides full access to Ancestry.com, which features census records dating back to 1790, immigration records, the Social Security Death Index, military records, birth and marriage records and more.

Auto Repair Reference Center:
Created through a partnership between EBSCO Publishing and Point 5 Technologies. This database covers the complete Chilton Total Car Care Series, with information on every major manufacturer of domestic and imported vehicles. It also includes information on many vintage vehicles dating back to 1954. New information is continually added.

INSPIRE
(INdiana SPectrum of Information REsources.) Funded by the state of Indiana and available anywhere with an Indiana Internet connection. Information available includes magazine and journal articles, pamphlets, images, almanacs, etc. See the INSPIRE database information page[http://www.in.gov/library/inspire/info.html] for a detailed breakdown of the services provided.

Newspaper Index
Compiled by MRL staff. This index covers articles of local interest, including obituaries, from the local newspapers dating back to 1822. With more than 329,000 entries and expanding daily, this is one of our library’s most valuable resources! This index may be accessed at your convenience from home via our online catalog or at the library.

Palladium-Item Family Tree
Richmond has had many newspapers since 1822. This newspaper “Family Tree” shows the different newspapers and their associated timeframes.

Novelist
Novelist is a database for fiction that includes reviews, annotations, and subject headings as well as author information. Other features include Author Read-alikes, reading lists and Book Discussion Guides.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center
From Thomson-Gale. The Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center presents arguments from all sides of social issues based on the Greenhaven Opposing Viewpoints series and featuring many of the articles from those books. Information supplied includes topic overviews, viewpoint articles, full-text magazine and newspaper articles, statistics, primary documents and links to websites.

Reference USA
A business database from the Library Division of infoUSA that provides detailed information on over 13 million U.S. businesses.

Wayne County Civil War Database
Compiled by MRL staff from the Directory and Soldiers’ Register of Wayne County, Indiana. This is a searchable index of the military service for Wayne County individuals who enlisted during the Civil War.


The World Book web site offers an encyclopedia, dictionary, atlas, homework help, study aids, and curriculum guides. World Book is publisher of the World Book Encyclopedia.
